Bar/Bat Mitzvah: An 8 part course designed to cover a wide range of fundamentals of Judaism. There will be 2 individualized sessions with a mentor to study and discuss your personal Torah reading. This program will commence with a Bar/Bat Mitzvah celebration dinner.

Life's a Trip: BE PREPARED!; Lessons on how to negotiate the trials and tribulations of relationships, work and society today.

Think Tank: One-on-one learning. You pick the topic, we'll find you a knowledgeable study partner. Topics to choose from include: business ethics, medical ethics, personal self development, philosophy, history, world of Jewish prayer, tutorial in Hebrew, Talmud, Chumash (Bible)...

Ulpan: Learn to speak Hebrew! Join other beginners as Israeli instructors help you start to speak and understand the language of the Jewish people. Classes available for both Beginner and Intermediate Levels.

Hebrew Reading: Learn to read Hebrew in no time! Gain greater familiarity with the high holiday and shabbat prayers. We will use the prayer book as our primer.

Basics and Beyond: Everything you always wanted to know about Judiasm but were afraid to ask..Fundamentals of Judaism and beyond!

Kosher Series

Learn the Why's/How's and What's of Kosher including:

Lunch n' Learn: Rabbi Yosef Edelstein leads this discussion of modern controversies and dilemmas from the perspective of traditional Jewish ethics. Topics range from medical issues to personal and business interactions. Lunch included.

Tikun Olam: Want to make a difference? Be a part of a Mesorah DC Tikun Olam project. Join other young professionals for one our great community service projects. Make a difference, meet new people and have a great time. Imagine what we can accomplish together! Projects we are involved in include : Repairing living quarters for low income residents, creating and distributing welcome packages people who are new to the city, hospital visitation to cheer up sick children, and more...

Legacy Leadership: Gain the knowledge and leadership skills necessary to become a leader in the Jewish community: topics to include community organizing skills, fundamental lessons of Judaism, community service, meetings with current Jewish community leaders and a fully sponsored weekend retreat.
