MesorahDC High Holiday Services
Join us for mesorahDC's very popular, traditional, user-friendly High Holiday services, and start your New Year on a spiritual high! Commentary, along with inspiring stories, will be offered throughout to make the prayers more meaningful, and mini-classes on High Holiday themes will take place concurrently for those wanting a break from the actual service. The services are appropriate for Jewish people from all backgrounds, and transliterated prayerbooks will be used for those with limited knowledge of Hebrew. The services will have separate seating, and will take place at the beautiful Sixth & I Historic Synagogue,
located at 600 I Street NW
What people said about mesorahDC's High Holiday Program
I found the high holiday services to be very inspiring and just the right length.
I found the services incredibly meaningful and helpful, more so than any other I have attended. My dissatisfaction with my previous Jewish education in general, is that we usually recite a bunch of prayers in Hebrew and no one really knows what they are saying or experiences anything spiritual. Mesorah's approach is what I spent my adolescence and young adult life looking for.
